So…. Yeah… I haven't updated in forever…. Sorry. XD

I don't really have time to write a novel, not that many people would WANT to read that, haha. But a few things have happened in October. Some good, some bad.

November has always been a sad month for me. 14 years ago my mom passed away on the 9th of November. Well, this passed year, on the 13th, my grandpa passed away from lung cancer. I cried… a lot. I was actually at work, and when I called to check in him on my break, I was told that I should get to my grandma's soon. Of course, I got out of work as soon as I could. One of the managers actually wanted me to stay, saying that working would help me get my mind off of it. Uh… I don't think so! I'm not going to work if my grandpa is DYING. Did I mention he's DYING?!?!?! Geez…. But yeah, LOTS of crying in November.
In December I got me a new, shiny laptop that's shiny! I need to get it because my computer was being a poop and got a million viruses. >.> honestly, It had about 56 of them. So it's just sitting on my room, collecting dust. Haha. I can't do much with it, just get all my music and documents from it to put on my laptop. Only bad part about this is now I'm in debt! Ah, oh well…. I have a job now, so I can pay if off more quickly.
December is also my birthday, turning 20, and so I'm no longer a teenager! Huzzah! Too bad there's not much of a milestone to turning 20, I guess one more year until I can legally drink? Yay? Since there's not many drinks that I even like? Oh well. I just went shopping for my birthday, but I still didn't have the greatest time. =/ I didn't really care, but it was still kind of a bummer. Only a couple people wished me a happy birthday, and when they did, it was like a side note like, " Oh yeah… um… happy birthday, by the way." Can't get everything, I suppose. Christmas Eve was alright. Got some good stuff. I'm perfectly alright with Christmas Eve with my mom's family. All the adults (plus me, the oldest grandchild) played catchphrase. THAT was too funny! On Christmas Day with my dad's side, WOW! So many people came over to our house! We haven't had that man for maybe 6 or 7 years.
January! Well, it's a mix of things. The beginning was pretty quiet. But in Mid-January… heehee. I met this really nice guy. Let's see, he's in a group of friends who's my best friend's boyfriend's friend's friend… I think. But we seem to have similar interests, and I think he may like me, if just a little bit. I look forward to seeing him this Friday if he comes to a movie night this Friday. :crossfingers: Maybe if we get a little closer I'll have to get the balls to ask him out or something. Ha ha! We'll see!!!!!
Bad side of January… Lost a contact, which costs $100 (My eyes are really messed up and I need special contacts) and then, maybe 18 hours later, I crashed my car. CURSE YOU SNOW!!!! Totaled my car. I felt bad because my uncle had just worked on it and fixed the brakes, and my grandpa, the who justpassed away gave me that car as a graduation gift. I'm keeping so many mementos from that car…!!!!!!!

And… I managed to write something of a novel or at least a chapter book. Heh… whoops…. But that's the updates for this week… err… for the few months with the rate that I've been going.

Question of the blog: If it's called "Hawaiian" Pizza, why is there Canadian Bacon on it? O.o

Holy cow am I tired! Last journal I was talking about look for employment, right? Well, after about 16 or so months without an actual job, I now have two! Well, maybe one and half. I got a job at Burger King (a different one, and the management is MUCH better) and I’m baby-sitting for my aunt’s neighbor’s two boys of 7 and 3. For the past few weeks, Monday and Fridays have been full! I get up, babysit from 10am to 4pm, get changed, and then go to BK and work at 5pm to midnight or 1 in the morning. Yeah, it gets tiring. But hey, it’s money. First paycheck comes this week. Really hope it’s big!
My grandpa still isn’t doing too well. He’s struggling, and the cancer, or something of it, is spreading. I feel bad for him and my grandma. My grandma is so stressed with taking care of him. I’ve been going there and sleeping over and helping anyway I can.

I’m still having trouble with keeping up with journals, comments, faves... Gomen!!!!! >.< I need time to draw as well. I miss doing that. Things seem to be slowing down for the moment, so if I have some time to breathe, I’ll work on.... something!

My life so far...

Hmm... My grandpa who was diagnosed with lung cancer back in March seems to be doing batter. He's a strong man. It's the chemo, radiation, and medication that make him feel like crap. I keep praying that he'll survive somehow by some miracle. I survived by a miracle, he can do the same.

That job I said I thought I had? Well, my friend who's the manager, is SO freaking lazy and doesn't keep his word. I said "forget that" and am looking elsewhere for employment. His fiancée works at a Burger King, and they just fired 2 of their guys so HEY! Employment! I worked there for one day as a last-minute, last chance worker since I worked at a BK before, and the manager was impressed at how well I worked.

I've also shown a great interest in the Air Force. My uncle suggested the military for me, and my first thought was, "sound like fun!" It's a great honor, a great challenge, and it will really give me a good push in the right direction with the meteorology degree I want. I'm really excited about it! like REALLY REALLY REALLY excited about it!

What else.... There's been a whole lot of drama between me and a few others. (The guy I like and his ex-girlfriend) There was a HUGE argument on facebook between this girl no one likes and my best friend. Lisa put on facebook that the whole day slipped by because she was playing sims3. This girl no one likes commented, "I told you to call me if you were free! ... you need to be smacked some days." And it just escalated from there. BUUUUUT I'm not going to get into it. I do, however, want to put that witch in her place! :threat:

Here's something to look forward to: TOMORROW! SUNDAY! Why? The VMAs, then the season finale of True Blood! :egar: I can't wait 24 hours! Air them both NAOW!!!!!! O_o heehee

I’m afraid to post... I haven’t been around for SO long! >< I’m really sorry for the lack of updating, upholding, and replays to messages. My life has just been so up and down (mostly down) lately that I haven’t had the concentration!  

Good News
- After months of searching, I could possibly have a job. I had a second interview about a week ago, exactly a week ago, and I’m calling them tomorrow to see where they are in the hiring process.
- I've made some new friends! They're so cool, they're not jerks, they're not going to hurt or backstab me in anyway. I'm SO much happier with these guys, so relaxed. They're my best friend's boyfriend's bunch. They are AWESOME!!!!!! We get together at least once a week to play cards and jsut talk. It started as my best friend trying to hook me up with one of the guys in the group, but I didn't want to force myself to like him, since I'm still in love with someone else. I'll get through it. Maybe some day I'll get over him.
Bad/Good News
My grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer almost 2 moths ago, and about 5 weeks into treatment he was in the hospital because of his extremely low blood pressure and extremely high hart rate (max was about 180). All of it scared me so much. Thankfully, he’s home now, and doing a lot better.
Anime Conventions
I got to go to Anime Detour this year!!!! It was really fun. I got to go with all of my new friends, had a great time. I'll have pics up soon.
Drama
Don’t get me started. Let’s just say that the guy I’m in love with is an immature, egotistical jerk who’s with someone who only bought him. Yes, she may like him, she does, but it’s an obsessive kind of thing.  He’s too blind by the fact that he has a girl who will do whatever he says to realize that I’m in the background, deciding if I should slap him or burst out crying. I hope that I get over him soon. I can’t stand all this crap he’s putting me through. If you want to know a secret, the reason why he found out that I liked him was because I put it on this site. XD THAT was embarrassing! Wonder if he still reads it... if he does... HI ZACK!!!!!!! :waves:
ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have SO many deviations and messages to go through. O.o over 1,000. (Eh, I’ve had worse!) I’ll make a dent in them, that’s all I’m promising. If it rains some time in the next week, and I’m not busy... maybe a bigger dent.

That’s all for now! As far a drawing does... I haven’t put anything up for a while, have I? Maybe I should do that tonight, something different.

Hey
I thought it would be fair to explain why there's such a lag in art here. It's a habit I want to kick, but I don't know how much luck I'll have with it. I've really been focusing on my photography right now, since it's what I'm going to school for. I have some new shots on my photography account, ExodusofButterflies . If you want to take a peek at them, I would appreciate it.
Anyway, things have been very stressful for me. I had a huge, long journal about this one guy... (Orochimaruoto knows what I'm talking about ) I'm not going into detail about it, too much info. I'm trying to keep this short! I'll just say there's a usual drama going on. But I REALLY don't want to talk about it. >.> As much as I would love to go on and on about it, I've decided to keep every detail and general idea between me and one other person. No more. Ever.

----- I'm going to put up some poems on here, but it's not going to be too often. (Less than in a blue moon, most likely) I'm choosing to keep them to myself for personal reasons.
----- For those who followed me on FF.net, I don't know if I'm going to be continuing to writing my fan fics anymore. Maybe if I'm in the mood... I took one of them down since I want to make that an actual book. And like I've explained to my grandma, if I want to make it into an actual book, I can't have anime characters with set personalities as characters. (Still, Yami x Anzu foreva!!! )
